Making 1st HOLY COMMUNION is the third child ritual enacted by children who are forced into the Catholic cult by their parents/priests/teachers. It has been preceeded by their 1st CONFESSION which is a humiliating ritual of purification whereby sins are confessed and a PENANCE administerd by a celibate priest in preparation for Ist HOLY COMMUNION which is an act of cannibalism. Communion or Eucharist is the taking of a wafer from a priest which the Catholics claim/believe has been turned into the flesh of their main man JC him of the bleeding heart and other S&M images.
This is the origin of the cannibalistic practice of COMMUNION/EUCHARIST.
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. (John 6:53-55)

A girl receiving the wafer
The attire worn by girls for this ritual is, of course, virginal white which mirrors bridal attire.
My dress was adapted from the dress I wore as flower girls at uncle and aunts wedding.
HOLY COMMUNION is big business.
My Big, Fat Gypsy Wedding TV series gave us loads of gaudy images. Of course, they were of Irish Travelers.
Here are some pics.
This church refused a Down’s child communion. Mary of the bleeding heart angels.
This site had some interesting questions and comments. What Is Holy Communion?
I have a 10 year old daughter with Downs Syndrome. She can read on a second grade level, but her comprehension is still not at that level yet. I would like for her to be able to make her First Communion with my 7 year old daughter who will begin her preparation this year. Are there any compensations for her disability since she may never really understand the concept of the Eucharist?
The concept of the Eucharist IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE for anyone.
This description of what to wear is dreadful from the same blog.
i am a girl 16 and roman catholic. i was just confirmed. our parish has strict dress requirements for both first communion and confirmation. the boys had to wear white suits and ties and we girls had to wear a poofy, floor-length dress with a veil, elbow length gloves and low cut shoes. Under our dresses, we had to wear an undershirt, cloth diaper, plastic pants and white tights.
The first communion and confirmation dresses are extensions of the baptism gowns we were baptized in as babies so the underwear is required to symbolize the purity of our baptisms for first communion and confirmation.
It was weird walking walking down the aisle with a diaper and plastic pants on under our tights!
Isn’t that all just so sick, especially the detail about the underwear thought up by a celibate priest.
