Welcome to the world Grace Adelaide Rathbone our first grandchild.

I am her grandma whilst Dave is her grandy. Her Mum and Dad, Laura and Fingal, are adjusting well to the early demands of parenthood. She was 9 pounds 14 ounces and is very bonny and was born on 6th October 2012. We are so delighted and look forward to minding her as we live a few bus stops away from them.      Grace 14 weeks

Congratulations Jeanne and Dave, also please pass best wishes on to Fingal. I guess like Susan and myself, you never thought you would see grandchildren.
Life throws up some odd coincidences, I was searching out options for my funeral on the web ( I’m not expecting to die, just writing a will) and I came across you and the news of the baby.
It would be nice to meet up some time, I visit London sometimes but usually to do stuff for work and then home ( North of Nottingham) on the same day. My mother who is 99 has recently moved up here to be close to the family so I don’t get to where she lived in Surrey anymore.
